Looking for a VA to join our team (must speak German and English)
Position: Virtual Assistant
Reporting To: Digital Business Manager
Status: Independent Contract 10 hours a week (room to grow)
Type: Remote (Europe)
Compensation: 15 -20EUR/hour (will increase with taking over more tasks/ responsibility)
Tentative Start Date: 8/3/2021
We are looking for someone who can join us by next month to take over tasks as a Virtual Assistant and support us in different projects in Project Management, Communication, Social Media and Marketing. This position will expand in 2021 as the business grows. This position will start at 10 hours a week and may increase over time. We are looking for a team member to grow with us.
Position Overview
The business owner is an Interim Manager in Communication and Marketing for corporations in Europe and at the same time takes on projects in Marketing, Communication and Project Management for businesses in the start-up phase in Germany. With over 15 years of experience in Marketing and Communication she brings a wealth of knowledge to all her clients.
She is also a published author, fully trained Africa Safari Guide, loves to travel but likes to spend as much time in Portugal as possible. True to her motto Do it with passion or not at all, she focuses her time on her passions on Marketing, horses and Africa.

Responsibilities (Examples of your duties)
Travel arrangements (booking flights, accommodation, travel restrictions, COVID-tests, etc.)
Making appointments and making sure the business owner knows all about the appointments (project related meetings, follow-ups, doctors, massages, etc.)
Manage business owner´s calendar and monitor, organize and forward emails
Ordering gifts for clients, friends and family (birthdays, holidays, last-minute gifts)
Back office tasks including setting up Last Pass, organizing G-Drive, help writing invoices incl. completing Toggl reports with voice messages from the owner
Perform various research tasks, e.g. alternatives for Health insurance, virtual Mailbox, Business Credit Cards for a Cyprus based company, Project/ Business Ideas of the business owner
Jump in where needed and the ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities for example: you may be working on a project and then all of a sudden something urgent will come up and you’ll need to divert and take care of that. Then you’ll need to get yourself back on track and continue with the original project.
Part of your performance metrics will be how well you’re able to jump in where needed and to think up new ways to improve the business. So, if you hate having to think up new ideas on your own and like to work on one thing at a time, you’re probably going to hate this job.
You need to nail down the details. You don’t need to race through work and get things done half-assed but instead pay attention to all the little things that we may have missed.
